The world premiere screen of Party Like It’s a Verb will be shown tonight at the Brattle Theatre in Harvard Square. Written and directed by Rob Peyrebrune, it is co-produced by and co-starring Jeff Stern.
Party Like it’s a Verb is writer/director Rob Peyrebrune’s unromantic comedy about a guy (Stern) who is not the ambassador to Italy, a girl (comedienne Giulia Rozzi) who is not buying his act, and the value of small victories over life’s disappointments. Party Like It’s a Verb is a local affair: most of the film’s core creative team met in Boston University’s film program and the movie was shot in Cambridge, Somerville, and New London, CT.
This screening marks the film’s Boston area premiere, and will be followed by a Q&A with the writer/director, producers, and stars.
Stern occasionally writes film haiku, including his latest on Drive.
