The intent of Boston Writers Review is to showcase the efforts and goings-on of Boston-area emerging writers.
It could be debut authors, or those getting published for the first time in online and print literary magazines. It could be coverage of literary events, such as Grub Street’s Muse and the Marketplace, or the Boston Book Festival, or Literary Death Match, or maybe even notable readings. It could be links to interesting essays or stories. We may even acknowledge the more famous Boston writers from time to time.
Boston Writers Review welcomes submissions, as another vision for this site is to be part of the Boston community. We are interested in interviews, essays on craft, essays on the Boston area, reportage of festivals and other events, photography and more.
For interviews, we accept submissions by anyone who’s interviewed Boston-area emerging writers; the interviewer is not required to live in the area. Also, a Boston-based emerging writer could interview another writer who is not from the area.
